About
We are a student icehockey team. Our goal is to play icehockey and have fun doing it. Our members are all students, mostly from Eindhoven. We range from complete beginners (rookie team) to progressed beginners (6th Division) and experienced competition players (3th Division). So whatever your personal goal, playing competitivly or just having fun, we got you! Icehawks is an association from the Student Sport Centre Eindhoven (SSCE). The club is run by volenteers and a board that is elected by our own members.
Training
During the normal season (oct-may) we host 4 training times a week. So expect to be on the ice AT LEAST 2 times a week. We also play games whenever the competition starts. Generally 14 games per team. Besides the normal season, we have the preseason (sept) and the summer season (jun) . During the preseason and the summer seasonwe host 2 or 3 training times. This results in 10 months of icehockey per year with less than a 2 month break in the summer.
We train and play our home games on the Ijssportcentrum in Eindhoven, at the Antoon Coolenlaan, which has one of the best rinks in The Netherlands.
These trainings are hosted by our coach Roger!
Social
Over the whole year we plan borrels and social activities.
We try to organize a away weekend with the teams and host a tournament for local or international teams!
We have our regular Sportsbar Dugout at stratum!
