Roger: "Allemaal bedankt voor de super dag! 👍🏒❤️"

In honor of Roger's 65th birthday, his 25 years as Icehawks coach and the association's 35th birthday, the Roger Anniversary Tournament was hosted. After a long await, (old) members got their gear out of the storage and booked their flights from across 15 European countries! The doors of the rink opened at 9am and the noise of cheer, laughter and skates on ice filled the entire rink. With 6 teams playing in one poule, each team got to play against each other in games of 25min dirty time.

Each team had its own color and its own name. The team members were organized together based on years with the Icehawks, ensuring team mates could be reunited. In the order of this reasoning, the teams were: 1. Red Wings, 2. Orange Senators, 3. Blue Canadiens, 4. White Whalers, 5. Yellow Ducks and 6. Black Hawks. 

Finale games to determine the standings of the tournament resulted in a 1st place for the Red Wings!
